Dr. Lewis has been providing care for people with work injuries since 1993. Chiropractic care may minimize work absenteeism for back and neck pain, as mentioned in recent research. In a new report, people who received chiropractic care managed to miss fewer work days in comparison to patients who hadn't seen a chiropractic physician.

In this 2013 study, 650 workers in Minnesota who had back and/or neck pain were surveyed. The authors found that many of those surveyed stated that their back pain prompted them to lose work or caused them to makeerrors on the job.

The most significant finding, however, was that the employees who saw a chiropractor had 58% fewer disability days than those who didn't see a chiropractor!

Many studies report that chiropractic care is the perfect way to manage and even prevent back pain, and that's what we've observed here in our clinic in Joplin, MO.
